My name is Laura Serra, from Palma de Mallorca. I am a translator and interpreter from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. My first languages are Spanish and Catalan. Although technically it is not one of my mother tongues, I have been learning English since I was very young. In addition, I spent some time living in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I have also studied German for 8 years and French the four years of my degree.
I finished my degree in July 2020 (yes, I am one of those students that graduated during the coronavirus). In September 2020, I started my professional career as a translator doing translations for some websites from Spanish to English. I have also done some proofreading work, as well as transcription of audios in Catalan.
