My name is Lenuta Stiube. (The translation of Lenuta into English is Helen. My name translated into Spanish would be Elenita). I have graduated the Faculty of Social Humanistic Sciences in 1996, in Oradea city, Romania. I have been teaching English and German for over 20 years. I have written my own lessons in MS Word, to make sure that my students do not need to write my explanations during the classes, but have more time for making (free) conversation. Every lesson follows the following format: - a lesson containing grammar explanations; - a vocabulary for the dialogue; - a dialogue; - a vocabulary for exercises; - a few exercises and their solution. I am working for a new video course. Because of my mother's condition (who suffers of depression), I have to stay at home with her, so an online job would be the best opportunity for me.

Main activities and responsibilities: - introduction of the information regarding the books of the library in Dresden, Germany; - looking for the information in five databases, transferring the data from the program Win IBW into the program Libero, adding the code and signature. The reason for not working there any more: the project ended, and because the company didn’t have other projects, could not offer other working contracts. (That’s why 3 workstations were closed). As this company was in the business for more than 12 years (when I joined it), lots of projects were already finished. Important: This was the JOB of MY LIFE, because I LOVED my work there and I got paid for every cardboard introduced by me. I loved to stay overtime because the extra money stimulated me a lot.

Main activities and responsibilities: - writing and sending e-mails to the foreign business partners of my employer; - requesting the price offer for the products used by my boss when working; - organizing meetings with the foreign business partners and serving as interpreter; (* once in 2006 I accompanied my boss in Dresden, Germany and serving as an interpreter for some hours during a business meeting). - translating technical texts and different types of documents from English and German into Romanian; - secretarial work, such as: printing the documents, sending faxes, talking on the phone with the business partners of my employer; - teaching English language. Name of the employer: Mr. Marius Baidoc (mechanical engineer) Type of business: searching the internet for companies that produce technical components used in the area of mechanical engineering, (within the predictive and proactive maintenance, repair of machine tools), for establishing some business relationships with these companies. The reason for not working there any more: due to the English classes, my boss learned English so well so that he could write his e-mails and translate the technical texts himself and needed me only for corrections.
