My name is Lucia Boza and I am a professional freelance translator who previously worked for seven years as the translator for a multinational construction division based in Chile.
I translated the corporate magazine in English and Spanish, working with my husband, a native English-speaking journalist who is the editor. In addition, I provided the subtitles for a 30-minute long company documentary in both Spanish and English. I have also worked as a management assistant in the same multinational construction division where my skills at organising, collaboration and teamwork were essential.
I started as a professional English language teacher in the late 1990s and Spanish teacher in 2008. I have classroom experience in both primary and secondary levels.
I have also been very successful teaching professionals through institutes and on a freelance basis – a path which only rewards highly effective teachers who are driven to bring out the best in their students to get tangible results.
I am motivated, enthusiastic and passionate in all my work.
