Dear Sir, Good day. I am Prof Dr. Capt Munshi Mahbubur Rahman, psc, presently serving as Professor and Head, dept of EEE, Prime University, Bangladesh. I am a former faculty member (Professor) of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). I have served in various positions at the department and faculty level of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Dhaka, including Head of the Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering (EECE) department and Dean, in the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from March 2006 – November 2019. I was consultant for Electrical Safety in Export Processing Zone (EPZ) Dhaka, Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) & Power Cell project, Bangladesh. My research interests include Powerline Communication, Renewable Energy, Power System Analysis, Power Generation & Distribution, Green Power and Power Electronics. I have already completed my tenure for the duties of Head, dept of Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering as Dean Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Military Institute of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have served 34 years in Bangladesh Navy and recently retired as a Captain. In my career, as a professional engineer I have served in many highly challenging administrative and academic positions. I am trained on Command and Staff duties from abroad. I have commanded two top dockyards of Bangladesh namely; Chittagong Dry Dock Ltd and Bangladesh Navy Dockyard for long time (details in CV). With my long experience in professional and academic arena, I am confident, I can contribute better than anyone else both in professional and administrative environment through my experience and expertise.
