My name is Maja, I am 26 years old, and I originally come from Sweden.
In my past 10 years of working, I have gained a great extent of experience within the areas of fashion sales (mainly luxury), wholesale- and office administration as well as content management, marketing, social media, and SEO.
Coming from a small city outside of Stockholm and having already moved out from home by the age of 17, I learned early in my life how dedication, hard work versus smart work and impeccable organization looked like. My biggest passions have always been fashion and exploring the world, which led me to move to London by myself at 19 years old.
Now, 7 years later, I have worked for some of the most prestige names within the fashion industry such as Louis Vuitton, Harrods, Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren Vanessa Bruno, all as a client advisor and elite associate. I more recently worked for Luxottica HQ (wholesale) for over 2.5 years, taking care of some of their largest Nordic Key Accounts. I had a key role liaising between different departments internally between London and Italy as well as a key role externally in terms of customer satisfaction, handling complaints, weekly administration, and reports to my accounts and managers, overseeing international orders, shipments, opening new boutiques, liaising with the buyers for their new assortments' and more.
My sincere passion for not only fashion but also working with -and understanding- people has led me into a deeper interest for social media management, advertising and creating engaging platforms. I have marketed brands as an influencer on my personal social media channels over the past 4 year and spent one year working for the high-end boutique PR & marketing firm Casale and co. in Knightsbridge, dealing exclusively with luxury brands, corporate businesses and HNWI. In my most recent role as editor, advertising, and social media manager for FinancEvents.com, I managed all content, SEO strategies, social media, handle advertisers and collaborations, also our own staff. I have since starting at FinancEvents.com successfully driven the audience from 20.000 readers per month to 100.000+ readers per month.
I have learned so much over my past 10 years about working with people from all around the world, understanding different personal cultures and work cultures. As well how to handle and multi-task large quantities of projects and tasks under pressure without losing any quality of work. My experiences in life have made me extremely comfortable operating, organizing, and multitasking independently and in teams. I am reliable, love to learn and further develop, enjoy teaching others, and seeing my own -and others, learning development. I simply thrive in a busy environment.
