I am Maria Murillo, a Spanish creative with 3+ years of experience living in Toronto. I moved from Germany looking for new job opportunities after working as a Visual Designer for Denkwerk, an European digital agency for two years. This allowed me to work for international brands such as Telekom, Santander Bank or TÜV by creating websites, product design, prototypes, design systems, print, branding and presentations. Previously, I worked as Freelance Designer for Dersat and Oddeon Music while completing a bachelor in Graphic Design at EASDIB, creating digital, social media and print content, newsletters, and illustrations.
Before getting into design, I studied a bachelor in Languages & Communication at UAM, which gave me the opportunity to learn English, French and German. For 3 years, I worked as Visual Merchandiser for Scotch & Soda, an European retail brand which allowed me to develop a taste for fashion, interior design, marketing and sales strategy.
Since I moved to Canada, I have worked for clients such as Ideal, an AI recruiting software, and Uberflip, a marketing management platform. Now, I am interested in joining your team as I think that it could bring new challenges to my career, and I will provide passion, a good sense of humor, and overall, a skilled designer ready to work hard.
