About
Graduate teacher of English as a Foreign Language from Argentina, I also hold a Graduate Degree [Licenciatura] in English Literature and Linguistics. Former Fulbright Scholar, I earned an Erasmus Mundus Master [MLitt/MA] Degree in Communications, Literary and Cultural Studies, and Foreign Languages run by the European Union and which implied studying at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain, University of Saint Andrews, Scotland, and Università degli Studi di Bergamo, Italy. I have extensive experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to students of different age groups and linguistic levels, both at primary education and at private language institutes in Buenos Aires. I have also worked as an in-company EFL trainer and have taught Spanish as a Foreign Language in the United States. I am currently a workshop facilitator for professional teacher development and an English for Specific Purposes (ESP) teacher at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, School of Engineering. I also teach Language 2 as part of the Translation Studies at E. N. S. L. V. "Sofia E. Broquen de Spangenberg". My main interests include researching and writing on different topics that range from literature, education and culture to socio-political and foreign affairs. In future, I am looking to start a career working within an educational organization or cultural institution in charge of providing professional development so I can share my passion for language learning and teaching, as well as continuing to develop my own professional skills.
