Our organization contributes to maintaining the maternal language and cultural heritage of immigrant children from 3-18y. We also support the development of bilingualism in the Greater Philadelphia area. We offer weekly academic lessons, and a few times in the year, extra-curricular activities to enhance their knowledge of the francophone culture and history.
We firmly believe that education can dramatically improve the social and economic outcomes for all children and that access to a high quality and rigorous education is a right for all children, regardless of background. This is why we have always been proud of offering a very affordable education in French (tuition fees are between $660 and $735 per year), creating the highest possible levels of francophone education, for the minimum of budget we have available.
Our 100% success rate at French official exams is a testimony to this commitment and to our very efficient methods of teaching.
Since the creation of PhilaFLAM, these amazing bilingual students have more opportunities to study by opening the number of universities and colleges where they can apply and study.
