As a hotel IT technician Im responsible for maintaining the hotel's computer systems and networks, as well as providing technical support to staff and guests. They are responsible for ensuring that all technology-related systems are functioning correctly and that all software and hardware are up-to-date.
Some of the key duties and responsibilities:
Installing and configuring hardware and software for hotel staff and guests, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.
Providing technical support to hotel staff and guests, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Ensuring that all hotel technology systems are secure and free from viruses or malware, and taking appropriate action if a breach occurs.
Conducting routine maintenance and upgrades to hotel systems, including backups and disaster recovery planning.
Managing the hotel's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
