Project Assistant
• Lead for the Reactor Head Work and Reactor Coolant pumps team. These teams are usually on the Critical Path from the start on the Outage until the fuel is unloaded from the core, the same goes from reload till the Reactor vessel head has been refitted. • Produce detailed work plans. Most intrusive maintenance activities will be performed under an Outage Permit to Work. These activities are monitor during a maintenance window. The work will be sequenced not to add time to the Outage and make use of maximum tool time. • Understanding of plant equipment and Maintenance processes. My previous experience in the Maintenance department gave a unique insight in these matters. • Ensure the team is working with the latest revision of Maintenance procedures. • Verify Maintenance work packages to ensure correct linking (using SAP and P6). • Assign the appropriate level of priority and focus. • Ensuring Permit to Work is correct for the task. • Coordinate with operating personnel; all activities are planned and perform when required at startup and shut down. • Perform daily review of plans new activities added (p6). • Provide single point contact for all system project-related issues. • Determine post-maintenance test requirements. • Together with linking the Permit to Works is designed whether to use an Outage Permit or stand-alone permit. • My experience working in Maintenance gives me the practical insight when it came to planning the activities for the Reactor coolant pump swop out and overhaul. • I have taken part in planning meeting, discussing requirements for a successful commissioning plan of our PTR tank replacement project. • I have completed training of plant system training; on job training has also given me insight into plant system understanding. • I've been closely involved in the planning of plant maintenance and the execution of those activities.
