Administrative Assistant
I worked directly with the commanding officer of the unit (about 600 people) and I was placed in this position because of my prior administrative experience. Assistant/Acting Information Management Officer
I was tasked to help transition the unit (of about 600 people) to remote work at the outbreak of COVID-19. We had to create a system from scratch and build our own processes on Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. This included the creation of policies and operating procedures to ensure information security was maintained. This all took place in the context of our unit preparing to deploy oversees as a combat arms unit.
