About
I am currently working as a Retail and Customer Support agent for Calworth Glenford LLC (Cheyenne, Wyoming), where I sell healthcare and sex/love life products for men. I also provide customer support to our customers. Here, I am also performing the duties of a collections agent (contacting customers who owe money to the company). The work is performed remotely. Also, with three years of experience in the Open-Access Academic Publishing Industry (Sensors Journal, MDPI), I obtained a wide range of Editorial skills (with an emphasis on pattern recognition and professional communication as my biggest strengths). These skills and experience also translate well to various types of customer service, logistics, and management jobs, as mediation between parties involved and organization of the Editorial process were my most significant work duties while working for MDPI. I also obtained some performance achievements, such as 2 times being the Editor of a year in MDPI (for years 2021 and 2022) and 19 times being Editor of a month, which proves my hard-working attitude, dedication, orientation to detail, and creativity when performing work duties. Before working at MDPI, I worked at the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade as a Bioinformatics researcher and a Teaching assistant. I developed programs and scripts for researching genomes of bacteria while also teaching Master and Bachelor students some courses such as ‘’Introduction to MATLAB'' and ‘’Membrane Biophysics''.My Educational background and interests lie in Molecular Biology (mainly General Cell Physiology and Biophysics) and Computer Science (primarily Bioinformatics). Still, I also like working with people as a customer support and selling stuff. My strengths are also problem-solving, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills (such as convincing people to buy something, understanding what someone needs and how to help them, handling difficult situations - for instance, angry customers, etc.).

Academic Publishing Editor
In this role, I executed editorial work (pre-checking the quality of manuscripts, organizing peer-review, etc.) related to scientific papers, from their submission to publication, for the journals Sensors and Systems. I was also responsible for professional communication with Academics involved in the Editorial process and our customers (the authors of scientific papers), so this role also involved customer service experience. Moreover, I managed and organized Special Issues for my section, invited and communicated with Guest Editors, and did sales (acquired manuscripts and negotiated discounts). For almost a year in this company, I also performed the duties of a training assistant (an additional role to my primary role). My main tasks here were answering questions and organizing training for my group of 17 members to improve the overall performance of the group members.
