• Create designs for the summer collection of ZARA Home 2019. • Responsible for making designs for Heimtextil in participation for 2019 Towel Collection. • Designed dobby and jacquard terry made-up new market collections for our open line as well as customized designs upon customer request. • Converse with director and marketing team on a daily basis to give directions on new developments, keep track of existing developments and make sure all are in house on time via strong follow-up. • Developed specification sheets, created color combinations using company terry color standards and pantone and delivered information to marketing. • Advised color and layout comments on strike-offs to concerned department and marketing team. • Reviewed sample strike offs and bulk terry made-up and fabrics and provided comments to marketing team. • Assigned the tasks of providing sets of sample designs on Terry textiles and fabrics. • Made designs for Embroidery by hand and machine. • Provided suggestions to clients on the kinds of fiber or yarns to be used. • Handled the tasks of sketching designs by using computer graph design and CAD software. • Responsible for choosing appropriate designs and color for making the Terry and fabric. • Assigned the tasks of keeping proper record of technical information like dimension and types of yarn to estimate the cost of terry made-up and fabrics. • To develop, manage and maintain the Company Design Development Process.
