I'm Nik, a Malay native speaker from Malaysia. I am a school teacher who teaches Chemistry and Core Science. I ventured into the field of translation for 5 years. I have been translating, writing and editing and my translation covers a variety of content, including educational, science such as in Biology and Chemistry, Environment, Healthcare, and General Computer/IT-related documents as well as books and localization. Some of the projects that are within my expertise include workplace safety manuals, safety brochures, laboratory procedures, workplace hazardous chemicals exposure, chemicals, industrial chemistry, lab, and company environmental policy. As for the medical and biomedical fields, I deal with bio instrumentation, biomaterials, patient questionnaires, patient information sheets, consent forms, medical brochures, research papers, video presentations, medical surveys, scientific articles, and lab reports. I am well-versed in SDL Trados Studio 2019, MemoQ Version 8, and MS Office.
