I made a big leap and decided to move across the globe to experience another rat race outside of what I'm used to. The culture shock was immense and there was a huge struggle to adopt to a new working culture. My time here was a steep learning curve but also yielded great results. I feel as though I'm able to adapt and overcome any challenges that may come my way. During my time time at the academy I was able to deliver on various tasks such as: - designing and implementing new curriculums - co-ordinating and contributing content to various marketing events - creating educational textbooks and original content With the students I was able to: - Improve student growth - Improve retention rates of current students - Increase the inflow of newer students from the area My most notable achievement while I taught at the academy was entering 10 students into a speech contest. 8 out of the 10 students won awards in several categories, the other 2 places second respectively. My youngest student won the highest accolade of the competition with a perfect score card. For me personally, the returns on my investment were immense. This was an incredibly rewarding and humbling experience.
