I'm quite new on Upwork but very familiar with freelancing. I have had 2+ years of freelancing under my belt in different areas but in more focus in ghostwriting and editing. I have done a lot of research work and editing for different university journals (literary, medical, science, and technology). I interned at Cadbury (Mondelez International) where I lead a sub-team in editing, researching, and improving their process safety management and standard operating procedure materials. Since I recently graduated and I'm new to the platform, I will bring a lot of new systems, procedures, and information many experienced editors or writers might not bring to the table.
I have a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering Design. I'm currently doing my master's in mechanical engineering at Oxford Brookes and I have written my own research papers, review articles, and dissertation. I specialize in ghostwriting (article, academic, technical, and ebook) and editing (academic, technical, and ebook). I recently rewrote and finished an undergrad nursing paper whose topic was based on the role of nursing managers using the specified formats which received good reviews from the course professor. Also, I have proofread and edited many colleagues' technical and term papers which all received good ratings and still do. I'm a native speaker so I guess that's a plus.
My workflow with you would depend on the job requirements but I would give a brief overview of it below;
1. You invite me to work for you or I apply for a job posting of yours.
2. Once everything is approved, I'll jump on the message center or phone to discuss certain requirements.
3. We'll go over the details, structure, and audience.
4. Milestones are finalized and the first draft would be put suggesting ideas based on our discussion.
5. Job process and revisions (Effective communications is important).
6. Final Job delivery.
7. Shake hands off from there.
