Finance Specialist
• Some of my daily activities include loading and calculating promotions that we receive from our vendors, claiming the discounted amount back from them and investigating any disputes or software issues that may cause us to lose money • I have become very confident in my ability to learn and become proficient at new software. This includes learning how to navigate our massive database, solving the problems that arise with the many different software we use and working daily with excel (LOOKUP functions, data trackers, error-proofing, etc.) • Perfected my work with numbers, calculating all the necessary amounts and making sure that everything is entered without any mistakes. During my time here, there have been no losses that were due to me making a mistake or entering data wrongly.

VTeam Events Officer Intern
A 6-month internship where I learned many valuable skills like: • Project Organization- I was in charge of organizing, promoting and supervising our One-off Volunteering Projects. They were the biggest in scale and were getting the most amount of interest from the students. • I helped manage the department’s budget by preparing in-debt budget spreadsheets and forecasts for future projects. I also managed the expense forms we regularly received from volunteers and reimbursed their travels/resources for their given project. • I was also tasked to work on the new online system they started using to advertise projects, manage volunteers and log hours. This further increased my computer skills and I became even better at adapting to new software. • I got used to the professional career world, contacting and keeping in touch with our many partners was part of my daily tasks. I also helped find a lot of new partners (non-profit organizations) and worked together with them to create better projects for the students.

Shift Supervisor
• Further improved my English skills by needing to constantly communicate with different people. • I managed the money in the till and filled in the needed reports at the end of each shift, which gave management the needed financial information on how well the business is doing. • As a shift supervisor, in addition to my normal duties I also had to train new staff and make sure the restaurant is up to standards, which taught me how to be in control when problematic situations occur. • Learned the importance of teamwork and good communication between co-workers and managers. • Learned how to manage my time in such a way, where I could balance working and getting the good grades I wanted in my studies.
