My passion for media production began when I was ten and received my first video camera for Christmas. Ever since then, I have been shooting as well as editing films, music videos, and commercials with my family and friends.
Fast forward some years and I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Information from Michigan State University. I am currently pursuing a career in the media production industry and am looking to gain as much professional experience as possible. Throughout my years at MSU I have worked on sets with, and learned from, professionals like Amol Pavangadkar, Mark Colson, David Wheeler, John Lepard, Carleen Hsu, and Troy Hale. I have experience operating various cameras and stabilizers as well as experience editing and color grading with software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. In addition to video editing software, I am also well versed with Google Suite and Microsoft Office. I have experience recording, mixing, and editing audio as well as operating lighting equipment. I have knowledge and experience working in the preproduction process as well. A few of my accomplishments in the media production industry include shooting a TV spot that aired on WKAR, writing and directing a twenty minute short film that has been submitted to numerous film festivals, as well as collaborating on a feature film that screened at the Traverse City Film Festival.
I’m a motivated, hard working, and fun individual who truly enjoys traveling, collaborating, and creating video content. I own my own Black Magic Pocket Cinema 6K Camera and Ronin M gimbal. I am very passionate about my profession and made a deliberate choice to pursue a career path that allows me to truly enjoy coming to work because I am doing what I love.
