Software Test Automation Engineer
So, currently, I am working in a fintech company that is working with the bank and for the interested customers in the money remittance business (Sepa, Swift, Faster payments, and western union type business). My current working experience is basically with two different sides one for fintech and the other for a software house that owns that remittance software. In my current work, I am a software automation engineer who leads a team of six people. Our company has many other products, but this remittance is one of the best and most emerging ones. So here from the scratch my team starts our collaboration with all concerned departments and makes it through to the end of the final product. So here I am trying to mention some responsibilities and skills as a software automation engineer. • Review and analyze system specifications. • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. • Evaluate product code according to specifications. • Using Katalon Studio with java and groovy to automate test cases. • Using linear scripting framework for automation testing. (But can work in multiple frameworks if required) • Using selenium for automation testing. • Automation framework design and implementation according to the project structure. • Create a software defect tracking report entire project release status to stakeholders. • Doing API testing by using Swagger. • Create logs to document testing phases and defects. • Report bugs and errors to development teams. • Help troubleshoot issues. • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. • Testing for different environments (web + Mobile). • Identify, investigate, report, and track defects. • Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and project managers. • Script, run, monitor, and analyze functional tests in an automation environment.
