I have successfully completed my Bachelors of Science in Global Health and Social Medicine (BSc) and Masters in Clinical Neuropsychiatry (MSc) at King's College London. With my acquired knowledge in biomedical sciences, pharmacology and, public health, intertwined with my professional and technical expertise, I am aiming to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically focused on public health.

Plastic surgery internship
Presented my research plans for my dissertation project for the third year at a science forum in Istanbul, and was selected by a plastic surgeon to shadow their surgeries and gain job experience. Acceptance to the terms of this internship involved working five times a week and helping with consultations and shadowing surgeries.
The internship involved:
1. Consulting with patients and preparing them for their examinations. These included but were not limited to: taking photos of each angle of their face or body to reveal before and after pictures; applying lidocaine as a numbing creme for those receiving facial fillers or botulinum toxin injections; measuring diameter and circumference of parts of the body for those wanting body augmentations; and lastly, using communication skills to ensure the wellbeing of all patients.
2. Helping with the extraction and isolation of mesenchymal stem cells from adipose tissue through liposuction followed by centrifugation and incubation. Separated mesenchymal stem cells were then used for the reconstruction of compound tissue loss and congenital malformations.
3. Shadowing plastic surgeries every 2weeks, which involved surgeries such as breast augmentation, lipoplasty, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty and surgical vaginal rejuvenation.
4. Maintaining professionalism in the office together with integrity and respect for patients to create a calm environment and a quality experience for patients.
