Renato Siracusano was born in Lentini in 1982. He graduated in piano with full marks and honors from the 'Vincenzo Bellini' Higher Institute of Musical Studies in Catania, under the guidance of Graziella Concas. In 2001 he specialized in the composition of soundtracks and incidental music in Bologna, collaborating with some important film production companies, such as Cometa Film of Bologna, Kamel Film, Terra Incognita Production, Cinecittà. In 2001 he composed the music for the documentary A ferro e fuoco produced by Cometa Film of Bologna ; for the short film Son of pen produced by Cometa Film, winner of the Jameson award at the Turin Film Festival and the only Italian short at the Cannes Film Festival; again for a commercial produced by Kamel Film.
He currently collaborates with Italian National TV –RAI-, signing the soundtracks for several documentary films broadcast on RAI programs such as: La Grande Storia by Paolo Mieli, Il Kilimangiaro, Geo & Geo.
