I am a disruptor with over 8 years of experience spanning various sectors including insurance, marketing, logistics, and Tech. Why me? Well, let's dive into a short story. I would say that I am a start-up whisperer with an inclination to grow people, improve data and foster excellence. I help brands get more meaning and stand out to ensure growth and profitability by setting up teams and enabling strategies to foster productivity. Through this, I have managed to grow a startup from a team of 3 members to 30 full-time team members and hundreds of contract-based staff. In my current role at Sendwave, my focus and niche is 360 recruitment operations and People Analytics. I believe with the right data, we can scale an organization to greater heights within the required budget and quality of hires. In my previous role at SunCulture, my focus had been to ensure all matters of People Management and Operational Excellence from an HR perspective. I believe in automation and agility with work from anywhere approach where, with the right team, right systems, and the right support, we can steer organizations to global footings. My focus areas have included Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Organizational growth, Performance Management, Business Partnering, and Culture Building In my previous role at Andela, I have focused on sourcing Software Developers from across Africa and placing them on partner work around the globe. I managed the stakeholder engagement of the VP People and CFO, and their direct reports, giving me a handle on CxO time and project management. I took part in managing a cross-functional team on the set up of an engine meant to hire and scale software developers. In addition, I have showcased exemplary change management skills which involve analyzing the recruitment process, reengineering from a cognitive-focused recruitment model to an experience-based recruiting model, stack priorities, market demand, and competencies that have optimized the recruitment process. I believe in the “more than JD” approach that aims at looking into a more defined way of scheming through candidates for a more empathetic and self-growth focus process of hiring and retaining the best-of-breed employees. I seek a challenge within a growth set-up and an opportunity to turn a team into a super team, a way to ensure that the business and the people win, a chance to ensure that people feel secure, valued and motivated while making a positive contribution to the business objectives and impacting the bottom line.
