• Enrollment and Recertification: Identify and assist individuals without health insurance in enrolling in appropriate programs. Help current members complete their annual recertification applications, ensuring they receive continuous coverage.  
• Community Outreach: Conduct in-person and virtual outreach activities at various locations, including hospitals, provider offices, community organizations, and city agencies, to educate the public about available health plans and facilitate enrollment. 
• Application Management: Complete and review all applications prior to submission to the New York State of Health (NYSOH) marketplace, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. 
• Member Support: Assist members in selecting a Primary Care Physician (PCP), ordering member ID cards, and making monthly premium payments. Utilize Healthfirst’s provider directory and Salesforce tools to verify and update member information as needed.  
• Digital Tools Education: Educate members about digital tools, including the Healthfirst mobile application, Twilio, and NowPow, to enhance their healthcare experience. 
• Event Participation: Participate in health-related activities and special events, such as health fairs and community expos, to promote Healthfirst’s services and engage with the community. 
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with external partners, such as hospitals, providers, and community organizations, to generate new opportunities and strengthen referral networks. 
• Compliance and Training: Stay informed about product benefits, regulatory guidelines, and corporate policies. Complete required training sessions and certifications, including annual recertification with NYSOH and compliance training.
