About

After a BA in Portuguese Studies and a 10-year corporate career in customer care, I decided to pursue my calling as a freelance writer. Since 2013, I’ve been combining storytelling with SEO to produce engaging, evergreen, and original content in English and Portuguese for various digital publications. Besides writing web content in both languages, I was also responsible for localizing an entire website on tourism in Alentejo from Portuguese into English. In 2020, I also collaborated on three books. “Travel Writing 101: Everything You Need To Know To Start The Best Job In The World: 30+ ‘how to’ lessons from professional travel writers and editors” (organized by former CNN Travel editor James Durston), “Secret City” (published by Lonely Planet), and “Global Insides: The Beginning” (sharing personal accounts of dealing with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic).
