I have been working for 6 years at Ingersoll Rand (IR) / Trane Technologies. As a part of business demerger, Trane Technologies emerged as a new company focusing exclusively on providing Climate solutions to customers. It’s been very interesting, exciting and challenging journey for me, I learnt policies and procedures at IR/Trane, engaged and managed variety of stakeholders to drive multiple projects in my role. Despite the unforeseen technical complexities, with proper co-ordination, follow up actions, ad-hoc meetings, daily check point meetings, cross functional discussions, I managed to keep resources at tasks (defect analysis and defect fixes) in a timely fashion and kept the business informed on periodic basis on overall project's progress. My primary goal has always been to instill Project management discipline, establish standard work, governance and tracking mechanisms on projects, this means all the key stakeholders, technical teams, leaders, business are aware of the progress and always has common line of sight on issues and challenges during the project lifecycle. This approach helps in maintaining QDC green on projects and brings about desired results and creates substantial business impact for each year.
