As an experienced bookkeeper with expertise in MYOB Essential & Xero - Online Accounting Software, I have a proven track record of remotely assisting business directors in running their operations efficiently and profitably. My responsibilities include recording and allocating transactions, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements and budget reports, monitoring cash flow and lines of credit, managing inventory, accounts payables, accounts receivables, credit controls, cash, daily banking, processing payroll, filing GST and PAYE with IRD, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is kept in an orderly manner for audit purposes.
I also have experience as a Management Trainee, where I worked on a transition project which was getting outsourced from the US to India. During this time, I learned about different phases of the project and gained expertise in creating, amending, closing, and deleting different types of events, providing data analysis to improve understanding of suppliers, markets, and business system performance, preparing Annual Operating Plan, actualizing and forecasting events, and overseeing team members for daily activities.
Prior to this, I worked as a General Accounting Ops Analyst for Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd, where I resolved deductions, followed up with customers for overdue invoices, processed the receipt of customers’ payments in the accounting systems, prepared reports, ensured customer statements were issued on a monthly basis, and resolved debtor queries and payment discrepancies.
I hold a Master of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Waikato and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Jamia Hamdard University. Additionally, I have completed a certification in Accounting Standards and Principles from Deakin Business School in Australia.
In terms of skills, I am proficient in SAP & its scripting, Microsoft Office Products, Compass, IRI & Spark tool, and MYOB, XERO, QuickBooks, and Vend. I possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to understand business issues, relationship and stakeholder management skills, and great attention to detail. I also have problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task and stay organized, and can present reporting insights effectively.
In my free time, I have participated in various voluntary activities and have been recognized as a "Responsible Citizen" by the Accenture CSR team for my active participation in Tree Plantation and educating workplace staff about hygiene, communication, and recording daily transactions.
