About

Hello, my name is Syeda Juveria Afreen. I have a goal to work as a remote software engineer for a reputed tech company. After spending a handful of years in the technology industry by building simple, complex, and responsive websites using Html, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Bootstrap, PHP, and Database on websites like automotive, educational, surfing, etc. I decided to start learning more about development by joining Microverse which is a remote software development company that allows devs from all over the world to pair-program and build projects together. I've spent the last several months in Microverse completely immersed in remote development, building everything from landing pages, Portfolios, To-do lists, Books stores, etc. My background in bachelor’s degree in Computer Science taught me how to work with programming languages. Diplomas in Web Development and Web designing taught me how to work with Html, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and databases. Currently enrolled in Masters of Computer Science where I have built a video game using C# as my final project. I've been using Zoom nearly every day for the last 6 months as I pair-program with software developers from all over the world, and I'd love a chance to contribute to the team. I love challenges and am ready to learn new languages. I've spent my years chasing after one challenge after another. I have very active internal mental processes. I like to consider things thoughtfully before acting so that I can commit my energy confidently to a course of action. I’m a creative thinker who likes to entertain a wide range of possibilities. I am not afraid to seek merit among unlikely potentials or to approach conventions with imagination.
