I hold a Master of Law within Swedish and International Law and have worked professionally in the translation field for the past three years. In my current position as a freelance translator, I translate documents and audio from English to Swedish and vice versa; in addition, I perform verbal language interpretation on occasion and similar tasks.
I possess native fluency in reading writing and speaking both English and Swedish. Being the son of an American dad and a Swedish mom, I have been provided with a solid grasp of various regional dialects, sayings, and customs. I have a firm grasp of the Swedish and English languages with an understanding of proper sentence structure grammar rules and vocabulary. Since I am dual citizen I have a sense of both US and Swedish culture – which makes it easy for me to translate common phrases or cultural sayings in a way that is not possible if you do not know both cultures by heart.
