Rapid and sustainable community development is my true passion. Co-creating human-centred life-changing solutions with young people is my calling.
Unleashing the potentials of marginalized young people and communities to do the above provides me with enormous gratification because that fulfils my purpose and defines how I want to be remembered when I am no more.
At Ubuntu Circles Africa, I have the unique opportunity to indulge in all of the above. We are a risk-free platform, a movement, a community providing marginalized young people with the technology, education and the space to turn their ideas into purpose-driven sustainable social ventures as a way to put them to work and reduce the 83% youth unemployment in Uganda.
Through Protectyl, a social enterprise I founded that turns waste into interlocking tiles to replace dirt floors for refugees and 80% Ugandans with sub-standard housing using a rent-to-own model, we have won the Social Impact Award 2021 Uganda and the PIR Good Hustle Scholarship.
For the past 4 years, I have started projects that have empowered over 1000 people with basic needs, economic empowerment and sustainable living. I am now on a mission to put 5000 youth of Uganda to work by 2030 and improve housing for 1.4 million refugees in Uganda.
I love supporting non-profit companies to become sustainable through social enterprise strategy and helping European companies to scale to Africa by mapping and connecting them with potential partners.
My ability to lead teams increases freedom to boost productivity at work and turns your employees into self-organised intrapreneurs with more time to do the things they love.
If you want to unleash your full potential and the people around you, let's have virtual coffee!
