I am a Software Developer with proven experience in developing end - end high quality softwares for over 7+ years and over 4years development experience in ReactJS. I am a self driven and motivated individual who loves to work on some of the most challenging problem statements and solve them using technology. I firmly believe that the purpose of innovation and technology should be to make people's lives easier and as a software engineer, I think I can make a lot of impact in people's lives. Talking about my skills and experience, I believe I have the skills and expertise required for this role. I have over 7 years experience in Frontend Development, especially in technologies like JavaScript, reactJS, Redux, AngularJS, HTML and CSS. Because of my Full Stack experience for around 2.5 years, I also have good understanding of Backend Systems and application architecture. I love to research, analyse and understand customer/client needs and then design and develop applications that are fast, responsive, interactive and solve user issues. I have worked on numerous projects throughout my career where I have developed and delivered high quality applications from End to End. Highlighting a couple of my most recent projects below :- 1. During my last stint with Zomato(India’s leading food delivery platform), I was leading a team (of 12 developers) which used to own the Menu/Catalogue of restaurants end/end. I worked on a project where I was able to scale the Menu interface so that It could support onboarding of grocery stores on Zomato with over 40,000 items. Earlier the tool could only support 300-400 items. 2. During my last stint with Zomato((India’s leading food delivery platform), I worked in a team which used to own the Menu/Catalogue of restaurants end/end. I worked on a project where we wanted to increase the Average Order Value(AOV) at Zomato. Where we built an entity called “Combos” where we could provide multiple items to the customer as a combination of items at a discounted rate. The project ran for about 6 weeks and we measured the results in about 6 months where the AOV has risen by almost 70%. I am always trying to learn more, experiment and make the best product possible. In my free time, I like to teach Data Structures Algorithms & Web development to college students. I have taught over 2500 kids through YouTube and Live classes. Many of them are now working in well paying IT companies as Full Stack developers. Playing Badminton, catching up with friends and travelling to the hills are things that I love a lot.

Major project: Development and enhancement of ‘Combos’ in restaurant’s menu Complete development of the module which allows merchants to create combos for their menu on Zomato Combos could simply be a combination of one or more dishes or a complex where customers can choose between multiple dishes. Actively participated in the UX design and product discussions to figure out the use cases and advantages for merchants, customers and how this could improve our Average Order Value.
