My name is Virginia and I am from Argentina. I have a degree in English - Spanish Translation from Universidad Adventista del Plata. Throughout my education, I have been trained to translate documents of different fields: technical, legal, literary, marketing, education, and tourism. Since I graduated, I have had the opportunity to work as a freelance professional translating legal documents such as birth or marriage certificates, and many other personal documents. Apart from translation, I work teaching English to Spanish speakers and I have proofread academic papers in English. I also participated in a cultural exchange program in the United States. This experience gave me the opportunity not only to improve my second language, but also to work and immerse myself in the American culture.
I consider myself to be a responsible, proactive and hardworking type of person. I have gained experience working individually as a freelance translator, and as part of a team as an English teacher so I have acquired essential interpersonal skills.
I believe it is crucial to be always prepared to face new challenges and I am looking for a new one! I have the fresh enthusiasm of a young professional and I am more than eager to learn and grow in my career.
