I am a veteran design professional with more than 30 years of trend
analysis, home and retail design experience. I graduated with a degree in
Industrial and Product Design from Fashion Institute of Technology. A
chronological succession of arts and design is central to my creative
career. I am a member of The Art Guild and a proficient fine artist working
with a plethora of mediums including watercolor, acrylic and oil. As the
Design Director of Bloomingdales, I led their private label programs for
table top, furniture, model room interior design, domestics, cosmetics,
housewares, trim a tree, food and candy departments for 23 years. I have
created fashion accessories for Christian Dior and Bottega Veneta as well.
As a private label designer, one of my large scale productions includes the
concept, development, and implementation of Bloomingdales iconic “Little
Brown Bag” merchandise . I most recently have worked with
Lenox, Gorham, Dansk, Roam, Wilsonart International & Darbie Angell.
I am an experienced Creative Director with a demonstrated history of
executing work in the design industry. Skilled in Trend Analysis,
Development & Production of Publications, Retail, Packaging, Visual
Merchandising, Typography, and Creative Concept Design. I am fully
literate in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop.I am a strong business
development professional with a Summa Cum Laude BFA focused in
Industrial and Product Design from Fashion Institute of Technology.
