Can you hold an online or physical event to raise funds for a charity cause?
Development Alert is looking for talented and highly committed individuals to support the organization as volunteer fundraisers. As as a volunteer fundraiser, you will be responsible for creating/promoting online fundraising campaigns in order to drive up donations and raise funds for causes closer to you heart especially those relating to activities in the fields of #Education, #Clean water access, #Economic Empowerment and #Environment Conservation.
You can do any of the following and more to raise funds to support a charity cause; Art Show, Car Wash, Bake Sale, Dance Marathon, Treadmill Relay Race, Photo Contest, Ice Bucket Challenge, Giveaway, Apple Watch or Strava Challenge, Twitch Video Game Fundraiser, Head-Shaving Fundraiser, Yard Sale, Winter Clothing Drive, 5K Run or Bike Race, Color Run, Walk-a-Thon, Surf Tournament, Costume Race among others.
ACHIEVEMENT
Since it's inception in 2020, Development Alert through the support of volunteers like you, has been able to drilled a Community Borehole for Kisia Village communities serving over 1000 people by providing the first and only safe water source to the community, with support from the Pollination project USA, the organization has been able to support over 410 needy school going children with scholastic materials, Supplied Seven (7) Brand New Sewing Machines and start up Fabrics to young tailors giving them employment and sources of income. the organization has also been able to trained Five (5) young people in life-skills thereby improving their employability and household incomes, providing sponsorship to over 20 needy school going children and also planted over 10,000 trees both on farm with communities and also on natural habitats for livelihoods improvement and habitat restoration.
