Audio Visual Technician
My longest role was as an Audio Visual Technician. I quickly developed strong technical and communication skills and was up-skilled to become a Senior Technician. I was responsible for managing teams of 2-6 technicians for various projects around New Zealand. Projects included installing AV automation, digital signage, and video conferencing systems. I also spent time communicating with and resolving technical issues for our various SLA clients. Skills: -Extensive experience with both physical installation and setup of various IT/AV equipment such as PCs/servers, racks, switches, routers, touch-panels, projectors and video conferencing systems -Self-motivated; comfortable in both individual and team environments -Show the expected level of professionalism required for interacting with clients -1 year Crestron Programming experience; schematics for system installs, designing UI for touch panels and programming -Handled walkthroughs of planned installations with clients & site foreman when required -Great IT skills; Microsoft Office, PC assembly, OS setup, troubleshooting, server setup/management -Point of call for reported faults requiring advanced troubleshooting
