A biochemist, holding MSc in Molecular Diagnostic and Health Engineering. I have great scientific background and experience in laboratory work and conducting experiments (in the field of Virology, immunology, clinical diagnostics, forensic sciences, etc.)
Throughout my work on the project - Assessing the effect of actinomycete extracts on Epstein Barr Virus - I have built a good experience in discovering a treatment for EBV infected people from microbiological extracts. In addition, I have built a good knowledge in researching, planning, and implementing new procedures to complete the project, in addition to documenting all phases of research and reporting all the results.
At my Project Officer position (Institutional sales Tendering specialist) at MEFOSA, I am currently serving non-profit organization, where I provide technical assistance and supplies requested through bids by NGOs, in the implementation of different projects such as: agricultural projects, food safety projects and water testing and treatment. In this approach, I have worked closely to develop a compelling proposal that will meet the technical requirements with a good price/quality ratio while meeting deadlines and specifications and optimize quality delivery. I built a good knowledge in WFP, FAO, USAID, UN, EU rules and regulations, as I worked with different NGOs and in different projects, such as:
• World Food Programme: Provide the Laboratory equipment and samplers needed for food testing. Provide treatments for drinking water. Provide vaccination equipment (syringes, etc...)
• The Lebanese Organization of Studies and Trainings: Provide the supplies needed to implant their agricultural project at Baalbek Community Farm
• Chemonics – USAID: Provide kitchen equipment needed
In addition to driving strategic partnerships for new business development with different universities, hospitals, restaurants, hotel, and food industries, and doing agreements with new suppliers. (AUB, NDU: Provide laboratory instruments, ELISA kits, etc.)
In addition to working with sale members in handling client inquiries and being responsible of Demos and Trainings on our kits (ELISA kits, PCR kits, culture plates, PH meters and others). I gained experience in updating CRM, issue sales invoices and purchase order, delivery notes and follow up (with local suppliers or follow up on shipment and clearance issue if the supplier is international), participate in Food/Water Safety Webinars as a speaker or a guest.
