Role Purpose: We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to support the implementation of core banking for our correspondent banking business. This PO will play a crucial role in executing against an ambitious build timeline to scale our newly re-launched correspondent bank, with demonstrable impact for our customers. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is structured, driven and passionate about the impact of their work. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, welcomes feedback and has an interest in Finance & Technology. About the client: The client is a leading financial services company specialising in cross-border payments. Remote working 2 days a week Key Responsibilities: Requirement management: Obtain and prioritise requirements collected from operations, treasury, finance, management and compliance, translating them into product targets. User engagement: Understand user workflows, blockers and dependencies to train users in optimal use of the system and spot inefficiencies in the product flow. Architecture definition/refinement: Contribute to maintaining a refined architectural target state as requirements arise. Spot inconsistencies and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. Agile project management: Maintain a prioritised sprint-based backlog and drive teams to deliver. Qualifications: Previous experience in FinTech, payments or related middle office banking systems is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, engineering or a related field is preferred. A working knowledge of software architecture, software development and agile working is mandatory.
