Head of Communications
The individual who takes up the Head of Communications position at the Journal d’Ambroisie is responsible for the Social Media and external, as well as some of the internal communication at the Journal. More specifically, they will be responsible for:
● Developing a communication/marketing strategy, including a “brand voice” maintained across all social media platforms.
● Management of Social Media: Instagram, LinkedIN, Facebook, TikTok.
○ Planning of posts.
○ Execution of posts.
● Newsletter: one / Edition + one in-between each Edition (8 Newsletters in Total in one
year).
● Communicating internally and externally with relevant individuals. e.g.: with Editors
about posts in which we present them OR with potential collaborators on social media.
○ Encouraging collaborations, reaching out to potential collaborators.
● Collaborating and coordinating with the Social Media Specialist / Graphic Designer.

Reporting To:
Co-Founders and Co-Editors in Chief. More specifically:
● Weekly report about internal and external communications / marketing.
● Monthly meeting with Co-Founders.
● Bi-monthly meeting with the Journal d’Ambroisie Committee.
Expectations:
● Be available for 5-6 hours a week for the Head of Communications duties.
● Attend all meetings set by Co-Founders and Committee.
● Potentially attend / take part in additional activities set by the Salon de la Sagesse, the
ACMC, etc. (these include Committee Socials, new project brainstorming Sessions, etc.)
○ Maximum 5 hours additionally / month.
● Boost the reach of the Journal d’Ambroisie across all our online platforms, to achieve
a global impact.
Additional goals, milestones and timelines will be agreed upon at the start of the Volunteering period. The Head of Communications should refer to the Committee Agreement and the By-Laws for additional information. For any other necessary communication, they should contact the Co-Founders and Co-Editors in Chief, with whom they must - if necessary - verbally agree, or put in writing extra agreements.
